Elizabeth Dias was born October 20,1932 in Nash County, She departed her life on January 15,2004.She was the forth of nine children born to Jack West and Mattie Wiggins.

Elizabeth grew up and was educated in Nash County in the Spring Hope Public School System.She was united in holy matrimony to Earl Dais and moved to Philadelphia,Pennsylvania.
To this union four sons and one daughter.

Elizabeth was a wonderful and caring wife and mother.She worked hard for many years as a factory worker. Elizabeth had a zest for life and often said "Live every day to the fullest."

In the year 2000. Her health began to decline.And though in pain. She kept a smile on her face.She was a "people person".

Elizabeth was baptized in sweet Jesus' name at the True Word Church of the Apostolic Faith, pastored by Suffragen Bishop Fernwood M. Jones.

She leaves to honor her legacy:her husband,Earl Dais;one daughter,Bobbie Lewis;four sons;Jeffery Dais.Earl Dais,Jr.,Steven Dais and Christopher Dais;three brothers:Arthur West of Connecticut;Robert West of New Jersey and William West of Connecticut;One sister;Ruth Moore of North Carolina;six grandchildren: Crystal Cole,Katrina Cole,Rachel Lewis,Earl Dais,III,Ashley Dais and Jeffery Dais,Jr.;one son-in-law;Ricardo Lewis,and a host of great-grandchildren,nieces,nephews and friend.
Also a sister that preceded her in death is Savannah Horton.
