Transferred to hospital at Baltimore, Maryland, where he arrived on October 16, 1864. Transferred to Point Lookout, Maryland, where he arrived on October 1864. Paroled on or about October 30, 1864. Received at Venus Point Savannah River, Georgia, November 15, 1864 for exchange. (Roll of Honor indicates he was wounded near New Bern, NC on unspecified date.
