Weldon Howard Kidd, 85, of Fayetteville, Georgia, grew his angel wings on February 1, 2012, peacefully in his sleep.
Mr. Kidd was born in Comer, GA on April 14, 1926. He is the son of the late Howard H. Kidd and Annie Lou Kidd. He served in the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge in February, 1952. Mr. Kidd resided in Jonesboro, GA for over 40 years and was a retiree from Delta Airlines after 29 years of employment.

Mr. Kidd is survived by his devoted and loving daughter and son-in-law of Newnan, GA; son of Fayetteville, GA; granddaughter of Newnan; two great-grandchildren of Newnan; brother of Jacksonville, FL;and many friends from Azalea Estates. Mr. Kidd was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Kidd and his grandson, Justin Cornelison.

Funeral service held on February 4 in the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Reverend Wally Woodcock officiating. Burial at Camp Memorial Park.
