James "Sonny" Chambers born November 6, 1935 in Danville, Arkansas, son of Grover and Nettie Chambers, passed away January 29, 2020 at the age of 84 years. He was the youngest of seven brothers and one sister.
Sonny worked for and retired from Sutherland Lumber Co. He loved to make WAHOO boards and I don't know of anyone that he knew that doesn't have one.
Sonny is survived by his wife Martha Bell Chambers and two daughters Belva Kay Hartley and Darla Wollite. Four grandsons: Wesley Kirtley, Christopher Kirtley, James C. Hartley, and Matthew Hartley. Five great-grandchildren: Jeffery, Zayden Hartley, Alexis Hartley, Riley Hartley, and Hunter Hartley.
Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Havana Cemetery.
