MONTPELIER - Phil Morris Woolstenhulme, 69, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009, after a short battle with cancer. He was born July 22, 1940, in Laketown, Utah. Phil was a longtime resident of Montpelier, Idaho, where he enjoyed playing music, hunting, fishing, and camping with friends.
Phil is survived by his wife, Patricia; three children, Cindy (Allen Gonzales) of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Craig (Tami) Woolstenhulme of Montpelier, Idaho, and Becky Meinhardt of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; four stepchildren and their families; two brothers, Daryl and Bart Woolstenhulme; two sisters, Jocyle Darcey and Linda Twiss. Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Faye Woolstenhulme, and sister, Sandra Poulsen.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at noon at the Montpelier LDS Fourth Ward Chapel. Friends may call prior to services from 10 to 11:45 a.m. There will be a night visitation on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Matthews Mortuary. Interment will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.
