KOUTS -- Hazel M. Sutter, 83, of Kouts, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1993, at Porter Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 12, 1910, in Lawrence, Mich., the daughter of Sylvester and Gertrude (Doxtator) Marks.
A Kouts resident 52 years, coming from Carbondale, Ill., she was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Kouts.
On March 17, 1950, in Valparaiso, she married Willard Sutter Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara Perrault of Oklahoma and Geraldine Fox of Kouts; one son, Samuel Sutter of Connecticut; four stepdaughters, Lola Schroeder of Kouts, Donna Strong of DeMotte, Marjorie Tomerlin of Hebron and Myrna Goff of Nappanee; one stepson, Willard Sutter Jr., of Hebron; 30 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Services 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Kosanke Funeral Home, Kouts; Pastor Neil Andersen officiating; burial at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Kouts; visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home; memorials to Visiting Nurse Association of Porter County and the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Handicap renovation fund.
