Samuel P. Bell, 77, Salina, died Saturday, June 11, 1994, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Salina.

Mr. Bell was born May 30, 1917, at Beloit and was a resident of Salina since 1950, moving from Ellsworth. He worked in the frame and cable division of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 33 years. He was a member of the Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Ellsworth, and the Bell Telephone Pioneers.

Survivors include his wife, Martha K. of the home; three daughters, Donna Jean Ethridge of Manhattan, Karen Hoffman of Topeka and Koleene Zimmerman of Salina; three sisters, Mary E. Bell of Salina, Beulah Rohymeyer of El Dorado and Florence Brooks of Denver; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home, Salina, the Rev. Alice McDowell officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today and the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home, 401 W. Iron, Salina 67401.
