He was the son of the late William Earl and Monnia Jay Singleton Woolard. Worked as a farmer for many years and later worked in Tree Service. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Washington NC and a former member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Washington NC. He is survived by his three Children: William Ryan Woolard, Elizabeth Courtney Woolard Arnold and Heather Marie Woolard Younts and their mother, Patsy.
He is also survived by seven Grandchildren: Kennedy Arnold, Korbyn Arnold, Karrigan Arnold, Caden Woolard, Annisten Woolard, Jacob Younts, and Drew Younts.
Along with his children and grandchildren. He had one brother: John Charles Woolard and one sister: Vicki Woolard Crumpler. At the time of his death he was married to Jackie Holland Stroud.
