Joseph L. Jamison Claimed By Death
Former Liberty Trustee Dies This Afternoon Following Illness
Joseph L. Jamison, 69, well known resident of Liberty township, died at 12:30 this afternoon at his home located two and one-half miles south of Liberty Center, after an illness of more than a year from kidney trouble and complications.

He was born Jan. 4, 1869, in Liberty township to Jacob and Tamson Jamison and had lived in that township all his life. He was married Nov. 11, 1916, to Mearl Jackson who survives. He was a school teacher for many years and had served in Liberty township as trustee and as assessor.

Surviving besides the widow are a girl, Dorothy Hamilton, who was raised in the home; a brother, J. C. Jamison, of Liberty township, and a sister, Mrs. Bruce Mounsey, of Alexandria.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Grove church and burial will be in McFarren cemetery.
