Charlie was born November 22, 1900, in Titus County, Texas. He was the second of nine children born to Charles T. Cameron and Barbara Jane Hurt.
He married Ruby Bell Chase in Eureka Springs, Carroll, Arkansas on May 5, 1919. Together, they had five children:

Charlie died January 22, 1988, in Nampa, Canyon, Idaho. He was buried in Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens in Boise, Ada, Idaho.

Charles B. "Charlie" Cameron, 87, of Nampa, died Friday, Jan. 22, 1988 in a Nampa nursing home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at the Cloverdale Funeral Home, Boise. Rev. Lester W. Smothers of the Oregon Trail Church of God will officiate. Private burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens, Boise.
Mr. Cameron was born Nov. 22, 1900, at Hattie, Texas, a son of Charlie Tredway Cameron and Jane Bell Hert Cameron. He married Ruby Chase on May 5, 1919, at Eureka Springs, Ark. They farmed in the Vale (Ore.) and Emmett areas until retirement.
Memorials may be made to the Idaho Heart Association.
