Mr. Geo Harper and Miss Nora Parker were yesterday married in Jeffersonville. Miss Parker was a resident of this county, residing near Lee's landing and the groom is the son of our much respected and popular druggist, Mr. JECF Harper. The Democrat extends congratulations, and wishes the happy pair may prove that marriage is not a failure.

Harper Rites Held Today

Last rites for the late Mrs. Nancy Jane Harper, who died Friday afternoon, were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Lytle Funeral Home. The Christian Science servce was read by O. J. Eberts, of North Vernon. Burial was in Springdale cemetery and pallbearers were Charles Rousch, Dr. Paul Fewell, Otis G. Reed, Robert Haas, Harold Rothert, M. H. Cochrane, William Kramer, and Howard Clements.
