Jeremiah Bever was the son of Jacob Bever and Elizabeth Harriman. He married first Samantha Beals (1856), daughter of Woodruff Beals and Sara Ann Myer. He married second Catherine Beals (1863),He married third to Margaret Clayman (1875)He married fourth to Eunice C (mnu)in about 1882. They were parents of twins, Lena and Roy Bever. He died May 24, 1884.Jeremiah served in the Union Army. He was a Private in the 63 Indiana Infantry during the Civil War. Jeremiah is at rest in Rose Hill Cemetery
