WEST HAVEN - On May 1, 2005 my best friend, wife, daughter, and mother to our boys, Jennifer B. Barrow, 39, left us while doing what she loved best, riding horses.

She was born June 25, 1965 in Ogden to James W. and Francene Stamey.

She married Scott Driscoll and they later divorced.

She then married the love of her life Troy H. Barrow on May 21, 1994, and together they raised their two sons, the joys of her life, Brian and Tyson.

Jenni graduated from Roy High School in 1983 and started her life in the working world.

She was employed at Chromalox, Triple Stop, Jetway, and was currently employed at Hill Air Force Base with L-3 Communications.

Jenni was a great friend and dearly loved by all that knew her. She never forgot a birthday and her relationships with her family and friends were the most important things in her life.

Jenni loved to dance, but lived to ride her horses (Easter, Tripps, and Chisum) and taking care of them the very best. She was a previous member of Jr. Posse, and 4-H Club. She is a current member of NBHA, AWBRA, District 2 USWRCA Club and The Wild Ones Riding Club.

Jenni was a leader and an example of excellent horsemanship. Her desire and love for horses made her excel in her skills in riding and she received many awards, trophies, saddles and recognition as a wonderful horsewoman.

The last few years Jenni was an avid barrel racer competing all over the state and won a saddle in the XBA in Salina in 2002.

Jenni was a member of the West Haven LDS Ward.

Jenni is survived by her husband, Troy H. Barrow of West Haven, UT; her two sons, Brian S. Driscoll of West Haven, UT; and Tyson J. Barrow of Richfield, Utah; her mother, Francene Stamey of Hooper, UT; grandmother, Myrtle Clifton of Washington Terrace, UT; sisters, Shelia (Garth) Robinson, Shauna Rich, Janene (Craig) Linnen; and brothers, James (Chris) Cahill, Joel Cahill, and Jon (Maureen) Cahill.

She is also survived by her in-laws, Blaine and Launa Barrow of Harrisville, UT; Sheri (Curtis) Mitchell, Deann (Jon) Moss, Mikel (Marcie) Barrow, and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her dad, James W. Stamey, grandparents Ed C. Stamey, Carrie May Stamey Nielsen, and Harold A. Clifton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd., where friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
