Dennis Wayne Morrow, 60 of Waxahachie passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Dallas. He was born March 12, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to the late William Dunn and Annie Marie Murphy Morrow. Dennis was a graduate of Waxahachie High School; he then went on to served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corp where he obtained the rank of Sergeant Major. He worked for Kroger Food Stores for many years as a butcher and was a longtime active member of the United Food Workers Union. He was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Waxahachie. Dennis loved life, his girls and will be dearly missed by family and everyone who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his 2 daughters: Wendy and Lee Higginbotham of Killeen, Texas; Jennifer Noe of Waxahachie, Texas; 4 Brothers: Alton Roy & his late wife Ruth Morrow of Ennis, Texas, Gary Morrow of Waxahachie, Larry and LaRhonda Morrow of Waxahachie and Donny & Marvine Morrow of Waxahachie; 2 Sisters: DÕAnna & Michael Walthers of Dallas, Texas and Brenda and Mike Turner of Waxahachie, The love of his life: Janet Pickett of Waxahachie, Tx.,4 Grandchildren: Whitney Noe, Jasmine Noe, Dylan Treon and Cooper Higginbotham. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and a host of friends
Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Sardis Cemetery with Dr. Leroy Fenton officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, January 13, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
