Died Saturday, Oct. 29, 1977, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 70, a native of Wesson, Miss. He was a retired construction supervisor with Albert Hart Construction Co.

Body at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, Miss., with visiting from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday. Religious services at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Revs. T. C. French Jr. and James Talbert. Burial in Roseland Cemetery, Gloster.

Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Ann Corbitt, Terry, Miss.; one son, Lawrence L. Tyson Jr., Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Mae Rearden, Tallulah, and Mrs. Mattie Griffin, Mobile, Ala.; and six grandchildren.
