He was born Sept. 13, 1933 in Bledsoe County, the son of Claude and Gladys Bice.
Mr. Bice was a retired quarry worker.
Survivors include daughters Glenda Bice, Trish Pelfrey, Kay Hayes and Sheila Godsey, all of Crossville, and Sue Ellis of Georgia; son, Henry Bice of Crossville; brother Eugene Bice of Spring City; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Neil Ellis, Joey McIntyre, Joey Robbins, Junior Houston, Rick Hayes and Beechal Hall. The Rev. Terry Bear officiated and provided music.
Burris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
