Virginia Bracken Moody (October 24, 1924 - January 4, 2012) Virginia B. Moody, 87, died January 4, 2012. She was born October 24, 1924 in Sapulpa, OK to Arthur and Jeannette (Lasure) Bracken. A graduate of O.C.U, she was Valedictorian of her class. She worked as an Elementary School Teacher before retirement. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Frances Shannon Yarbrough, Margaret West, and Adelia Mae Bracken, her parents, and husband, H. Carter Moody. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Marla McGrath and husband Randy of Bethany, Debbie Gant and husband Richard of Catoosa; son, Myron Moody of Bethany; 4 grandchildren, Kelsey Gant, Lauren Swart, and Luke and Riley McGrath. Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm, with the family present from 7-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 7, 1:00pm at OKC First Church of the Nazarene with interment in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
