The Oklahoman, Monday, July 15, 1963: Services for Charles Bannister Cochran, 75, former state supreme court justice, will be at 2 pm Tuesday at St Luke's Methodist Church with burial in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Longtime Oklahoma attorney, former Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice, and former state Bar Association president, Cochran died Saturday at Wesley Hospital. Street & Draper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was active in St Luke's Methodist Church since 1923, and held many church offices. He taught "Cochran's Class" in Sunday School more than 35 years. Cochran was a member of the Beacon Club, Men's Dinner Club, and former member of Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. Survivors include his wife, Winniel.
