FLORENCE, SC - Rev. Warren O. Holloway, 87, of Florence, died Thursday, October 21, 2010 in a Florence health care facility after an illness. Rev. Holloway was born in Columbiana Co., OH a son of the late A. Howard and Edith Kirk Holloway. He graduated from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. He was a Pastor for the Church of Nazarene in Virginia, Maryland, Illinois and South Carolina and had been an Evangelist for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Warren Howard Holloway, who died in 1976 and a sister, Mabel Zeigler. Surviving are his daughter, Bonnie Phillips of Florence; brother, Edgar Holloway of Columbiana, OH; sister, Lois Barton of Oregon; grandchildren, Karen (Randy) Evans of Lake City, SC and Kimberly (Kelly) Lea of Sanford, NC; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Alex, Meghan, Ryan, Jeremy and Joshua; great-great-grandchild, Kaleb. Memorials may be made to the Family Life Church of the Nazarene Missions Fund, 2812 West Palmetto Street, Florence, SC 29501. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Family Life Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
