Mary Ellington Cuthrell,85, teacher of Salisbury,NC., died Wednesday, Sept 29,2004 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late William V. and Mary Taylor Ellington. She was preceeded in death by a son Hiram J. Cuthrell Jr. She was a grauate of Rocky Mount High School and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She taught school in Snow Hill, Goldsboro, Whiteville, Salisbury, & Wayne Community College. Cuthrell was a member of the First United Methodist Church by the Dr. Thomas L. Griffis. She is survived by her husband, Hiram J. Cuthrell, whom she married April 13,1943; son Dr. William V. Cuthrell of Ky.; daughter: Lee C. Spada of North Ridge, Calif. and three grandchildren.
