Dodge City - Roy J. Slabaugh Jr., 52, died Tuesday at his home in Dodge City. Born Nov 1, 1924 in DeQueen, Ark. He married Vivian A. Lyons, Nov 10, 1946 at Horatio, Ark. He was employed by Santa Fe Railroad and was a Dodge City resident since 1956.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge, American Legion, VFW, Moose Lodge, board of Directors for Railway Employees Credit Union, all of Dodge City.

Survivors include widow; sons: Roger, Corvallis, Ore.; Ronald, San Pablo, Calif.; Donald, of the home; daughter; Mrs. Marilyn Meyer, Dodge City; mother; Mrs. Verbal A. Slabaugh, DeQueen, Ark.; brothers; Raymond, Jerry, both of Oklahoma City; sisters: Mrs. Ernie Jacobsen, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Lee Johnson, Mrs. Otis Blish, both of Glendale, Ariz.; Mrs. Howard Turner, Little Rock, Ark.; three grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Hulpieu-Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City; with Mr. Dean Burton. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.
