PUTNAM - Joan A. (Ledoux) Belanger, 50, of 85 Latici St., a maker and collector of porcelain dolls, died Monday in Day Kimball Hospital after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 28 years, Paul J. Belanger; two sons, Scott Belanger of Putnam and Kevin Belanger of Danielson; a daughter, Kim Belanger; and a sister, Susan Kenyon, both of Putnam. She was born in Putnam, daughter of Theodore and Claire (Kennett) Ledoux, and lived here all her life.

Mrs. Belanger was quality control technician at Frito Lay Inc. in Dayville for 14 years. She previously worked at American Optical Co. in Putnam.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Visitation Church and had been involved with its youth group. She was also a member of the Marriage Encounter community in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

The funeral will be tomorrow from Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
