George Robert Collins, Jr., 18, of Dallas went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday December 29, 2011. George was born in Dallas, Texas on January 25, 1993. He attended the Covenant School, graduated from Parish Episcopal in 2011 and was currently attending Texas A&M in College Station. George was a loving and faithful son, brother and friend but most important to George was his relationship with Jesus Christ. He was involved in many church and community activities, never met a stranger and always was surrounded by old and new friends. As a faithful friend, George lovingly created humorous nicknames for everyone. His generous spirit benefited all he met as he loved and accepted people just as they were. He knew how to make you smile in any situation. No one was able to resist that huge smile of his. From his youngest days he enjoyed anything on wheels from his Banana bike to his Heeleys to his F250. In his short driving career he bought and sold eight cars and his entrepreneurial skills had grown to include a successful business of buying, selling and repairing iphones. An Eagle Scout, George was always resourceful, creative and industrious. Predeceased by his grandfather, Matthew Cartwright Roberts. III, George is survived by his parents, George Robert Collins and Emily Roberts Collins, younger siblings Anna Collins and Michael Collins, maternal grandmother Sue Howell Roberts Sloan and husband Dr. Charles M. Sloan, paternal grandparents James and Tina Collins, aunts Susan Roberts, Kathey Roberts, Mary Roberts Baldwin and George Baldwin, Becky Roberts, Linda Collins Long and Ricky Long, uncles Ed Collins and Amy Collins, James Collins, Jr. and Claire Collins, and numerous loving cousins. George "Walks with God" For you will go out with joy, and be led forth with peace, the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12 George's precious smile will be greatly missed.
