Jerry Lee Gray, 70, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011, in Bowie, Texas.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2012, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sunset, Texas with Kevin Mayfield officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 til' 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2012, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Arrangements are entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.

Jerry was born April 24, 1941 to Carl and Dorlia (Hancock) Gray in San Diego, California. He served his country in the United States Air Force at age 17. Jerry married Linda Hatton on December 14, 1973 in Durant, Oklahoma. He worked for LTV and Lockheed Martin. Jerry also worked in Iran for Grumman Aerospace as an instructor, and also in Saudi Arabia as an instructor and aircraft mechanic. After he moved to Sunset, Jerry worked at Sheppard Air Force Base as a crew chief in aero repair until his retirement in 2003. He enjoyed building and flying RC aircrafts, working at his fruit orchard, and fishing. Jerry is remembered with love and appreciation for his devoted years as a husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gray of Sunset; three children, Carey Gray and wife, Louisa of Euless, Judy Wilson and husband, Howard of Midlothian, and Michele Gray of Rendon; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brother, Sam Gray and wife, Patsy of Burleson; sister, Delores Swinney and husband, David of DeRidder, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
