St., Summerville, Saturday evening, April 17, 2004, at 8 o'clock. Friends may
call at Parks Funeral Home from 6-7:30 o'clock. Burial will be Monday afternoon,
April 19, 2004, in Eastern Heights Cemetery, Bristol Tennessee, at 2 o'clock. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the humane society of choice or to the
Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC
29605.
Mr. Hasty was born May 3, 1951, in Charleston, S.C., a son of William J. Hasty
and Florence Sanders Hasty. He was service manager for W.W. Granger of Chicago.
Mr. Hasty was a graduate of St. Andrews High School, where he was a member of
the National Honor Society, the National Math Society and lettered in football.
He was a graduate of Clemson University. He was an avid golfer and lover of
animals.
Survivors include his parents, William J. and Florence Hasty of Bristol
Tennessee; one brother, Steve Hasty and wife Bobbi of Matthews, N.C.; one
nephew, Patrick Hasty, and one niece, Becky Hasty.
