Edward E. Williams, age 79, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Rogers, AR to Leslie and Jessie Baldwin Williams, Mr. Williams was a longtime resident of Jacksonville. He was employed by JCR Systems for many years and was a member of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship. He was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church and a US Air Force veteran. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 19 years, Fatima B. Williams; his son Alan B. Gicana (Mimi); daughters Cynthia Graham (Cody) and Maria Mims (Johnny); his sisters, Dorothy Jean Swink, Jerry Clark and grandchildren Czyra Maye Gicana, Myrelle Bea Gicana, Francis Gabriel Gicana, Cyrus Graham, Malachi Mims, Marcel Mims and Alyanna Margaret Gicana. The family will receive friends at a Visitation on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 6 -8 pm at Town & Country Funeral Home Chapel, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church, 5755 Ramona Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. Burial will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
