Mrs. Jarrell was a 1933 graduate of the University of Georgia, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Commerce, GA and a member of the United Methodist Women. She, along with her husband, owned the Roxie Theater and the Commerce Drive Inn.
She was predeceased by her husband James E. Jarrell and parents James Augustus and Emma Carlton Johnson.
Funeral services were held at November 14, at the First United Methodist Church of Commerce with the Revs. David Bowen and Mera Head officiating. Burial was in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, four great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and one brother.
