Ronald W.Jenkins Sr. Age 64, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2011 at his home with family members at his side. Originally from Louisiana, Ron enjoyed fishing, shooting and gardening. He was a US Army Vietnam War Veteran, employed by International Paper and a proud member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Song Leader and Sunday School Superintendent. Ron is survived by his wife, Wanda Lee nee Hamby, mother, Mattie Jenkins, sister, Cynthia Jones, son, Ron Jenkins, Jr., step-daughter, Linda (Charles) Baker, grandsons, Avery Jenkins and Christopher Baker, granddaughters, Paige Jenkins and Melissa (Ryan) Ziegler, great-grandsons, Michael Trankina and Zackry Baker, several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, M.L. Jenkins, daughter, Tammy Lynn Jenkins and brother, Terry Jenkins. Ron will be missed by all who loved him. Visitation, Tuesday, 9AM until time of service at 11AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois. Interment Bethania Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
