David Allen or Aledander Holtsclaw had a shoe repair shop in Tipton, Indiana for 56 years. He was born in North Carolina his parents were Cornelius and Louisa (Guess) Holtsclaw. He leaves two sons David Allen Holtsclaw of Tipton and Harry H. Holtsclaw of Elwood. He is also survived by his brother Richard Holtsclaw of Anderson, Indiana and several grandchildren. He was a long time member of the West Street Christian Church and a member of the Moose Lodge.
