WILLISTINE DEW DICKINSON, age 83, died Wednesday, December 10, 2003.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Spring Hope Funeral Home by Rev. William R. Bussey and Rev. Douglas Willett. Interment will follow in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.
Willistine was born June 12, 1920 to the late Hilliard and Betty Dew. She was a dedicated wife and mother and is preceded in death by her husband, James Exum Dickinson and a son, Larry Dickinson.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine D. Jones and Rex of Stanhope; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith Dickinson and Phyllis of Stanhope, Willis Ray Dickinson and Frances of Stanhope; a brother, Bobby Dew of Durham; seven grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Spring Hope Funeral Home Friday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. and other times at the home of Keith and Phyllis Dickinson, 5760 Southern Nash High Road, Spring Hope.
