He retired from guide Lamp Division of General Motors in 1982. He served in the US Army for four years and four months in Korea in the 73rd Tank Division. He was an avid sportsman loved to fish and hunted with a bow or with guns. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Ramona (Ellis) Moran; mother, Daisy Gaines of Anderson; two sons, Tony Moran Lives in Pennsylvania and has two daughters and Terry (Linda) Moran of Anderson; one siste, Betty Brown of Anderson; two brothers, Ronald Moran of Chesterfield and Larry Moran of Anderson; two grand daughters Sabina and Dawn Moran of Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
