DEANNA LEIGH PETERSON, 47, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2011. She had been a resident of the High Desert for 21 years. Deanna was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Deanna spent her life dedicated to her family and friends. Deanna is survived by her husband, Chris Peterson, of 24 years and her children, Lindsay (Phil) Betteridge, Lauren, Lacey, and Logan Peterson; mother, Susan Jordan; mother-in-law, Leila Peterson; sister, Heather (Mark) Bovey; brothers, Dean (Roxane), Cary (Nicole), Dwight (Robyn), and Shawn (Carey) Jordan; sisters-in-law, Michele (Keith) Campbell and Robin (Darren) Hallett; 23 nieces and nephews, and close friends Ron and Carol Metcalf. She is preceded in death by her father Dean Jordan Jr., her sister Wendy Jordan, father-in-law Sherwood Peterson, and grandparents. The viewing willl be held Friday, December 9, 2011, 5-8 pm at Sunset Hills. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 15500 Tuscola Rd., Apple Valley.
