PORTER, WEBSTER K. 919 Geneva St., Burlington, Wis
Age 60. Passed away August 16 in the Burlington Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Porter was born in Garden Prairie, Ill., on August 31, 1892, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Porter. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois. In Chicago, on Jan 22, 1916, he married the former Florence Leudtke. Following marriage they lived in Peoria and Chicago and came to Burlington in 1917. He was a chemical engineer In Chicago. In Burlington he was in the real estate and Insurance business and recently celebrated 25 years in that business. Surviving are his wife, Florence; one son, Wendel K, Porter Rhinelander, Wis., one daughter, Betty Ann at home: one grandchild; mother, Mrs, Jenny Dodson; one brother, George W, of Kansas City, Mo,; one sister, Mrs. Wilma Sewell of California. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p. m. in the Schuette Funeral Home, Rev. R. J. Bailey, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be In the Burlington Cemeterv. Friends may call at the SCHUETTE FUNERAL HOME, Burlington, Tuesday afternoon after 3 o'clock and until service time.
