Her maiden name was Kreinbring - and her sister was Louise Kreinbring (who married a SCHMIDT).
There seems to be a variation on the date of her birth - two sources say she was born 14 Mar 1893, while the Social Security Death Index shows 15 Mar 1893. I'll defer to what's on her gravestone.
She married Herman Conrad ROWOLD, mar 10 Dec 1913 in Lowden, Cedar, Iowa.

OBITUARY: Funeral services for Emelie Rowold, 92, were held Sunday, September 2, at Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden, the Reverend Paul Jordan officiating. Burial was in the Lowden Cemetery. Mrs. Rowold died at Cedar Manor in Tipton, Thursday, August 30. Mrs. Leona Helmold was organist. Pallbearers were Larry and Kent Goldsmith, Dave Wiedenhoff, Ed Archer, Terry Rowold, Richard and Jeff Rowold. Mrs. Rowold was born March 14, 1893, the daughter of John and Mary Schraum Kreinbring. She married Herman Rowold December 10, 1913, at Lowden. He died in 1973. She had been a resident of Cedar Manor for 6 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marvin L. (Marie) Goldsmith, Clarence; a son, Barnell, Stanwood; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.
Generally written as Amelia, but known as Melie or Melia, her memorial stone is written in the German (?) for of Emelie, where she is buried with her husband Herman Rowold, and their son who died in WW-II. Her son, Barnell "Barney" Rowold lives in nearby Clarence IA with his wife. Melie's sister was Louise Kreinbring who married William Charles SCHMIDT - and prior to 1930 - they both had farms South & West of Lowden IA. Melie & Herman continued farming their farm during the 1930's & 1940's (?) - while Louise & Wm C SCHMIDT lost their farm & moved to Dixon, Lee, Illinois about 1929 - after their son (Arthur?) got a job there working on the dam in the Rock River.
