H. C. Falin, 71, Of Eccles, Dies
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Mount Tabor Baptist Church for Haborn Campbell Falin, 71, of Eccles, who died in a local hospital at 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Born on Aug. 23, 1876 in Scott County, Va., Falin had resided at Eccles for 23 years where he worked as a trackman until he retired five years ago because of ill health.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Eccles.
Falin is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Falin; two sons, J. P. and J. W. Falin, of Eccles; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Fleming and Mrs. Herbert Hendrickson, both of Eccles; a step-daughter, Mrs. Norva Miller, of Bolt; a brother, Wilbur Falin, of Pardee, Va.; and three sisters, Mrs. Victoria Watts, and Mrs. Floyd Rhotan, of Speers Ferry, Va., and Miss Laura Falin, of Bolt.
Sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
The Rev. C. H. Costlow and the Rev. Bob McKinney will officiate and burial will be in the Calfee Cemetery at Mount Tabor.
