At the age of 67, Mattie Fay Sullivan died Sept. 12, 2004, at Shands Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. A native of Pearson, Ga., Mrs. Sullivan had resided in Yulee, FL for most of her life where she worked as a waitress for the Wayfara Restaurant for many years. She was a longtime member of the Yulee Church of God. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening and race cars especially NSCAR. She loved activities with her family and loved them dearly.
Survivors include: her husband of 12 years,
son, and daughter, her three brothers,
seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services was held at the River of Praise Worship Center with Pastor Larry Osborn officiating, assisted by the Rev. Hilton Martin, and Interment in Bosque-Bello Cemetery.
