Tony Lynn Bailey, 54, of Brookside Drive, passed away Thursday afternoon at Lexington Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Tony was born in Ashe County on Dec. 15, 1954, to Garney Church and Peggy Louise Michael, and reared by Carl Nelson Bailey. He was a self-employed car repairman and dealer. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are; one son, Chris Bailey of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Dylan Bailey, Austin Caudill, Briana Crews and Chris Bailey Jr.; two stepdaughters, Andrea and Jessica Lay of Lexington; three stepsons, Joshua Lay and Colton and Cory Hamilton, all of Lexington.
The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
