MRS. MINNIE WILLINGHAM FRAZIER -- "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord…saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them." On March 5, after a lingering illness, endured with patience and cheer, God called one of His saints into eternity. In the early years of her life, Minnie Willingham Frazier joined Salem Presbyterian Church, Fairfield County, S.C. To these sacred vows, she was loyal. Her faithfulness to the Master was marked by enthusiastic service, generous giving, and untiring effort. Her life and work among us were an inspiration. Her influence for good will extend and broaden to the eternal shore. To be gentle and kind, with her, was innate. She possessed the rare quality of being a friend wherever a friend was needed. Thoughtful consideration for others filled her mind daily. Whereas, in the wisdom of Almighty God, our beloved friend and co-worker has been taken, we wish to express to the relatives: First, our heartfelt sympathy in her passing. Second, a consciousness of the loss which we, in her death, sustain as a group of Christian workers. Third, a deep sense of regret in the permanent separation of a worthy and highly esteemed friend. "Enfold, Saviour, in Thy arms, Grant she henceforth may be— A new and lasting tie between Our human hearts and Thee." Salem Women of the Church, Lugenia Gladney Roberts, Chairman. Note: Minnie Willingham Frazier was Mrs. James Blair Frazier, Sr. She joined Salem Presbyterian Church July 23, 1893 by profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
