David James Luper, 64, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died November 24, 2011 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born July 19, 1947 at Springdale, Arkansas, the son of Virgil and Vicie McGarrah Luper. He was a retired truck driver for George's and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Judy Mathis Luper of the home; two sons, James David Luper of Calico Rock, Arkansas and Mervin David Hancock of Huntsville, Arkansas; two daughters, Denise Ann Smith of Huntsville, Arkansas and Teresa Kay Curry of Benton, Arkansas; two brothers, Glenn Luper and Harold Luper, both of Pleasant Heights, Arkansas; one sister, Bonnie Walker of Goshen, Arkansas; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P. M. Monday, November 28, at the Revival Tabernacle Church in Springdale, Arkansas with The Reverend Jeremy Ncatee officiating. Private interment will be in the Hickory Creek Cemetery. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas.
