Mrs Ida Mae Jones Holder,daughter of the late John Walter Jones and Hattie Jones,was born October 1,1939 in Wilson County,North Carolina. She departed this life on October 10,2003 at her home in Spring Hope, NC.After struggling with Multiple Myloma(cancer).
She attended the Nash County Public School systems. She united in marriage on April 16,1959 to Nathaniel(Ray) Holder.They were married 44 years and to this union five children were born.One child,Benny Ray, preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories:her husband, Nathaniel Holder,two daughters,Pamela Jean Hinton,Linda Raye Holder,two sons Dennis Holder,Timothy Ray Holder.Three very special grandchildren,James,Brittany and Kevin Hinton.,three sisters,Elizabeth Wilkerson,Pauline Jones,Emma Felix,two sister preceded her in death, Minnie Murrell,and Annie Laura Williams.three brothers James Walter,John Jones(Jr),and Willie(Jack)Jones.two brothers preceded her in death, Lamon(Tom)Jones and Oscar(Boot)Jones;and a host of relatives including special nieces,nephews and cousins,all whom she loved very much.
She was a loving mother,and wife, a great aunt. and a loving sister. She was well known and loved by everyone who knew her. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed help.She gave her heart freely and lovingly. She was known for her kindness to people who were bedridden. Her great kindness was appreciated very much and will be greatly missed.We will continue to cherish her memories forever.
