William Giddings

William "Bill" Giddings, 89, of Greensburg died Aug. 24, 2003.

Survivors include his son Billy Giddings of Charlottesville; daughters Nettie VanArsdall of Greensburg and Margaret Gosnell of Milroy; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death on May 12, 1995 by his wife Martha (Mantooth) Giddings, whom he married July 1, 1933; son David Giddings; daughter Carol Sue Giddings; brothers Thomas and Forrest Giddings; sisters Artunis Campbell, Marjorie Powers, Betty Jayne and Betty Giddings; and one grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy with Dr. Lee C. Riggs officiating. Burial and military graveside rites will follow at East Brook Cemetery in Milroy. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
