Martha 'Louena' Cope Adcock, 72, of Walling, Tennessee passed away November 13, 2011, in Sparta. Louena was born September 21, 1939, in White County, Tennessee, to the late Jesse Cope and
Ersa Mae Edmonds Cope Carter.
She was a housewife and retired from Wagner Electric after several years at the Red Kapp Industries. Louena was preceded in death by her parents and a brother,
Jesse 'Verble' Cope.
Survivors include her loving husband Dean, her two daughters, Brigette and Kimberly and their father, Farrell. Four grandchildren that she loved dearly.
Alyssa, Bronson, Madison, and Allison.
Several half siblings also survive, including Virginia 'Faye' Summers, Wilma 'Jeanette' Lott,
Dillous 'Wayne' Carter, Brenda Gail Pegg, Michael Stevon 'Steve' Carter,
Jorena Kathleen 'Rena' Carter, and Maxie Ferrellon Carter.
Also preceded in death by her step father, Waymon B Carter and his son James Milas Carter.
Service will be held November 15, 2011, at Hunter Funeral Home, with interment in the Plainview Cemetery, in the Cassville community. Leon Jones will officiate.

She was 'mom' , 'chief cook' and 'bottle washer' to her half-siblings at a very young age and before she married and had children of her own. She loved them all and never seemed to complain.
