Johanna A. "Jennie" Latina, age 87, wife of the late Joseph Latina of Wilmington passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 11, 2011. Jennie's early years were spent as a fixture at her father's sub shop "Charlie and Sons" located at 8th & Madison Sts and later at 10th & DuPont Sts. Her culinary skills lead her to a 37 year career at the Original Del Rose Restaurant on Delaware Avenue. After retiring, she spent her later years enjoying precious moments with her beloved children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her dog "Carmie". She is survived by her sons Philip & Joseph II (Agata) and her daughter Donna Nash (Bill Flowers), her precious grandchildren Jenna, Gregory and Joseph III and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Philip, Carmen and Joseph and sister, Felicia "Mae". Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 16, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th & DuPont St., Wilm. at 9 am. Calling hours are Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Corleto-Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union St. Entombment will follow Mass in Cathedral Cemetery.
