Daughter of the late Stanley and Ella (Renner) Smale. Preceded in death by husband of 46 years John Sener in 2005; two sons: Robert and David; sister: Doris Stevens and half-brother: Stanley Smale, Jr.

Worked at Ashland Shirt Factory for many years until starting her own business. She and husband owned and operated Sener Jewelry & Gift Store in Ashland for 35 years until they retired.
