Edwin C. Woodward, 49, of 432 High St., Frackville, passed away Friday at his residence.

Born in Ashland, May 16, 1962, he was a son of Edwin Woodward, Ashland, and the late Joanne Fallat Woodward, who died in 1999.

Edwin graduated from North Schuylkill High School, Class of 1980; was a member of the Frackville Elks BPOE 1533, Local 542 Operating Engineers, Upstate Social Club and was a past Little League Coach in Frackville and a Girardville T-Ball coach.

He was last employed for Haines & Kibblehouse as a heavy equipment operator until becoming ill.

Edwin was a member of Zion's Reformed UCC, Ashland.

In addition to his father, surviving are his wife, Mary Ann McDonald Woodward, Frackville; a daughter and son, Stacey, wife of Stephen Minahan, Mahanoy Plane, and Eric Woodward, Frackville; two grandsons, Stephen and Brady Minahan.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Church, Frackville, with the Rev. Edward Finlan officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kull-Heizenoth Funeral Home, Ashland, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of arrangements.
