She was born February 13, 1904 in Granville County to the late John and Annie Overton Currin. Mrs. Arnold was a homemaker and a member of Knightdale Baptist Church.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2000 at Knightdale Baptist Church with Reverend George Pullium officiating. Burial, New Knightdale Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving: daughter, Ann Morris and her husband, David Morris of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Mary Dixon Murphy and her husband, David Murphy of Thomasville, GA, Wayne Morris of Thomasville, GA, Michael Richardson and his wife, Leanne Richardson of Louisburg, Phillip Richardson of Knightdale; great-grandchildren, Michelle Yown, Lexie Ann Murphy and David Cameron Spears, all of Thomasville, GA; three great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Berry Richardson and friend, Phyllis Norman of Knightdale brother, George Currin of Zebulon.
Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Dixon Arnold and a daughter, Doris Arnold Richardson.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2000 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the home of Berry Richardson, 1418 Smithfield Road, Knightdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knightdale Baptist Church, Post Office Box 21, Knightdale, NC 27545.
