Francis M. Jamison, 87, Quinter, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter.

He was born April 3, 1924, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Johnny and Ila (Bittner) Jamison.

He married Carolyn (Baker) Jamison on Nov. 27, 1941, in Smith Center.

Survivors include his wife, Quinter; two sons, Galen Jamison, Quinter, and John Jamison, Dadeville, Mo.; a daughter, Reva Neal, Omaha, Neb.; a brother, Bob Jamison, Bend, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Jamison.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Church of the Brethren, Quinter; burial in Baker Township Cemetery, Quinter.

Memorials are suggested to Church of the Brethren in care of Schmitt Funeral Home, 901 S. Main, Quinter, KS 67752.
