Death Takes Banker at Richardson.
C. R. Chick, 76, 108 Thompson, board chairman of the Citizens State Bank, died here Tuesday.
Chick was a lifelong resident of Richardson. He became president of the Citizens State Bank in 1937 and continued to serve as president until 1956 when he became board chairman.
Chick was an elder and treasurer of the First United Presbyterian Church of Richardson. He also was treasurer of the Richardson Historical Society and a former president of the Richardson Rotary Club.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Restland Memorial Funeral Chapel in Dallas. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
