Gary Michael Albright, 62, of Casco, passed through the gates of Heaven on August 16, 2010. He was born Sept 25, 1947 in Detroit, to Joseph and Rita Albright. After graduating high school, Gary joined the United States Marine Corps in 1966. He spent 13 months in Okinawa, Japan and in the Philippines, where he helped to build many things for the community, including schools. After 3 years of service, he left the Marines as a Sergeant. Gary was a jack of all trades. From computers to woodworking to photography to gardening, there wasn't much that he didn?t know, or couldn't accomplish. His latest joy was his new boat, where he loved to spend the day fishing and relaxing. But his greatest passion in life was his family. Gary?s family brought him much joy and happiness, and he was very proud of them all. He was the one everyone turned to when they had a problem, and there wasn't a thing in this world he wouldn't do for them. Gary will be greatly missed by all. Gary is survived by his wife, Sharon, his children, Amanda and Alex, as well as his siblings, David of Ray Twp, Diane (Dennis) Macci of Idaho, Kay of Baraga, Mark (Joann) of Chesterfield, Cindy(Sam) Giacchina of Roseville, Joe of Harrison Twp, and Steve(Adele) of East China and many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Rita Albright; his wife, Carla; his children, Michael and Alicia; and most recently, his grandchildren, Joshua and Emma Buckland; and his son-in-law, Charles Buckland.
