ROLANDUS BECKNER
Mr. Rolandus Beckner, who was in the retail tobacco business for many years, died yesterday at his home, 1629 West Lafayette avenue. For more than 20 years Mr. Beckner kept a store on Pratt street, near Howard, but in the great fire of 1904 he was burned out and reopened at 906 West Lexington street. He was a member of several fraternal orders and had a wide circle of friends.
He leaves a widow and one son, Mr. Edward Clinton Beckner. Four sisters-Mrs. Samuel Shank, Mrs. Andrew Geeseaman, Mrs. Harry Brandt and Miss Ellis Beckner, and two brothers, Mr. W. C. Beckner and E. E. Beckner, also survive.
